Since our startling debut on Nov. 22, 1987, the Chicago Ministry of Disobedience has been a pirate organization monitoring the military-industrial-commercial-agricultural-sports-casting-complex. The Ministry believes that we are already living in the futuristic dystopia portrayed in the Max Headroom television show and, therefore, we have hijacked its imagery to express our message. We tried to warn the public of the oligarchy imposed under the media networks and enforced through the government puppet state. However, it was determined that the public was not ready to hear our warning. Also, there was some question within the Ministry over whether the symbolism of flyswatters, bare asses, and Clutch Cargo would be understood by the masses. The posts here at hijacked signal will continue the fight from both inside and outside the system (also from a somewhat system-adjacent position)!
